COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is an instruction on building a home-based medical transcription business, with emphasis on skills and business tools required in becoming an independent contractor, as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Participants are taught all aspects of medical transcription with hands-on experience transcribing cassette dictation.
Students are given access to a medical transcription audio library, which includes specialty physicians and dictation from the Big Four, which they are permitted to check out and learn at their leisure. They receive excellent one on one instruction in small class sizes.
Participants are supplied a medical terminology book and all the training materials, reference and production tools, trade secrets and support information that will allow them to work from home with success.
Certificates are awarded to students who complete the course with an employable or above category. Courses are taught by working medical transcriptionists.
